Thanks for checking out our site! This is a home-made bracket system for our friends, family, and anyone one else that want to take part in the best time of the year, the NCAA basketball tournament.
The site is definitely a work in progress. After deleting most of it by accident a couple years ago, I've been slowly trying to get things working again. Unfortunately, I still don't have everything fixed that I wanted to do. We'll run with the site as it is this year, and hopefully be back next year with a better set up.

Site Announcements
Mar 27, 2009 -- Due to the flooding in the Fargo area (we live in West Fargo), I have not updated the standings or results lately. I will get things moving as soon as possible. On a personal note, our house should not be affected by the flooding; luckily, we are far enough away from the Red River that we have not had to evacuate. My company's building has been closed until at least Tuesday and I have been volunteering whenever possible, so things have been hectic to say the least.

Mar 20, 2009 -- All of the scores from Thursdays games have been entered, and the bracket scoring is up to date. 2 brackets have 15 point so far, so some of you are off to a great start.
We're just waiting for the games to start today. NDSU plays one of the first games of the day, so since we live in Fargo my company is hooking up a tv in the building so we can sit and watch.
Keep checking back throughout the day for more updates to the scores and smack talking on the smackboard. FYI, the Utes play at 7pm EST.

Mar 19, 2009 -- The games have started & the site has been locked down! You can no longer enter or edit your brackets (aside from putting them in different groups). It's time to enjoy the games!

Mar 19, 2009 -- I was able to get today's games entered into the schedule. I'll try and get tomorrow's games entered later this evening. The brackets will be closed promptly at 12:20pm EST, or close to it.

Mar 17, 2009 -- I've had a few reports of people having trouble starting a bracket, saving it and coming back to it later. I will be looking into this bug soon. Until then, please try and create your bracket all at once if possible.

Mar 17, 2009 -- The bracket has been open for just about 24 hours now. Things are going somewhat smoothly and I have just fixed a bug that was keeping all of the brackets from displaying in the standings page within the groups.
The play-in game is tonight, so be sure to get your brackets in by game time if you want to grab that extra point. You can still enter your brackets after tonight and still make the bracket, but you just won't get credit for that game.
If you have any problems, feel free to contact me. I'm also open for suggestions for next year if there is something you'd like to see or another type of game you think would be fun to incorporate into the site.

Mar 15, 2009 -- I've got all of this year's teams entered and believe everything is ready to roll! I will do some final testing in the morning and will send out the email to all members once I think it's ready. Thanks for your patience!

Hello, we just want to welcome you to Nate & Katie's Bracket. We hope you enjoy the competition this year, although it will be missing some functionality again this year.
Things haven't changed since last year, so we're still lacking in a number of areas. But we can keep track of the scores so that's what matters!
